Are you going to see your sibling at the labor day gathering then either argue with them or just try to avoid them? Do you have sibling rivalry in your family ? Perhaps you were pitted against each other by your parents.? Did your mom brag that your brother or sister got their first tooth earlier, walked earlier, and was smarter in school? Have you always felt , jealous of the sibling you felt was chosen as the favorite?.
Let’s take Daryl. Now that they are adults, when Daryl sees older brother Mike he’s friendly but always feels tension in his body when Mike’s around. He knows the anxiety is deep down inside and related to his feelings about Mike being the favorite.
So every year Daryl when the clan’s gathers for the yearly labor day barbeque, they quarrel over who will man the grill or just avoid your each other and have too many beer.
