Dreading Thanksgiving With Your Sibling?

If you are going to get together with siblings at Thanksgiving and dreading the annual feast- tell me your tale.

I am looking for midlife sibling stories involving the fast approaching holidays. Are you a step sibling  who has been invited to your stepmother’s house for turkey day and planning to down several cocktails to endure the meal?

Are you a half sister or brother planning the Christmas holiday gathering with your family? Over the years maybe you have found ways to make the celebration cheerful and more full of giving  instead of regret.  Tell me what those adjustments were.

Maybe you are a mother who has step and half children and dreads the coming meal where the adult kids snipe at each other, you and your same old sweet potatoes dappled with marshmallow topping

Or perhaps you are a step mother who has been able to blend your extended family together in new ways to make the Hanukkah holiday fun for everyone, including you.

I would like some comments with real life stories about sibling woes leading up to the holidays.

The first comment I receive will get a free copy of Mom Loves You Best Forgiving and Forging Sibling Relationships .
